Hiland Mountain Correctional Center is about 15 minutes away from Anchorage and houses women who are incarcerated. Every Saturday two ladies from our congregation volunteer to meet with the women for a Bible study. About 15 women usually attend.

This class uses the NewLife Behavior curriculum, which was written especially for men and women are are in prison. It has proven to be very effective in helping to change the lives of those who want to follow a different path from the one that took them to prison.

This week Marianna Olson and Christy Mahugh will lead the class.
