The Women's Activity Committee organizes two to three ladies' nights where the women have an opportunity for fellowship, a devotional, and incorporating the Secret Prayer Sister Program.
They organize some craft days for the ladies to come learn new crafts or work on current ones they are involved in.
They also organize a Holiday Tea and Ornament Exchange the first of December.

Formerly identified with the Anchorage Church of Christ, Dana Grubb, from San Antonio, Texas, will be our speaker. She is a mother, military wife, architect and a published author. Her book Changed by Jesus may be purchased for $15.00 or 2 for $25.00.

Quilting Extravaganza
If Black Friday shopping isn't for you but you love to quilt, sew, or do other crafts, join in the fun and fellowship of working with your sisters for as long as you like. The Deaf chapel will be set up with tables for quilting, but there is plenty of space in the foyer, etc. for other projects. The point is to concentrate on geting a lot of work done and have fun being with your sisters in Christ while doing it.
Bring your project materials, including your own sewing machine, Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch, and a snack to share throughout the day.
Some will stay late into the night so plan to stay as late as you want.
Secret Prayer Sister Identity Revealing
All good things must come to an end and so it is with the fall session of the Secret Prayer Sisters. This is the time to reveal your identity to the lady whose name you drew. The location has yet to be decided upon.
Plan to bring two modestly priced gifts: one for the person whose name you drew and one for the person who drew your name.
The nextsession will not begin until a few weeks later. This will give those who have just participated an opportunity to interact with your "secret sister" now that you know who she is.
Ornament Exchange & Tea
The Annual Ornament Exchange & Tea will take place at the home of Verneta Wallace. Maps to her house will be on the foyer table at the church building.
This event is loads of fun with a happy and festive atmosphere. Each lady (9th grade & up) who wants to participate in the ornament exchange should bring a wrapped tree ornament but do not put any "to" or "from" names on it.
Even if you don't participate in the gift exchange, please join us for a delicious array of tea, coffee, and goodies. This will all be furnished, so you don't need to bring anything. Just come and enjoy the "show."

It really is great fun and you'll still have time for shopping.
Sisters in Service Saturday Seminar
The Sisters In Service planning team is offering a wonderful opportunity for all of our sisters to come together for a few hours of focused Bible study. Our first Saturday Seminar is scheduled for October 15, 9:00 to 12:00 AM.
Your recent comments and survey responses have emphasized the need for us all to grow in our spiritual walk. This study is one way that we hope will help meet that need.
