Deaf Ministry
Andrew Deuschle heads up the deaf ministry at ACoC. Our deaf members are a close-knit group and, in many ways, are a church within a church.

Our deaf members meet at the following times (hearing persons are welcome):
Sunday
Bible Study - 9:00 A.M.
Worship - 10:15 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
Wednesday
Bible Study - 7:00 P.M.
Deaf Banquet
The Deaf of the congregation hold this annual banquet to show their appreciation for all of the encouragement and support given to them over the past year. They provide a formal catered dinner that will delight any pallette
Besides a fabulous meal, the Deaf will provide original entertaiment, which will be interpreted for the hearing and you will really enjoy it.
There is no charge for the evening, but you must have a ticket to attend. See Andrew to get yours..

The Deaf of the congregation meet for a potluck lunch and spend time in fellowship. The hearing are invited to bring food and join them.

Summer Quarter Ends
Today is the last class of the summer. The Fall Quarter will begin Sunday, September 7.
This coming Sunday is also Promotion Day. If you are now in the following classes:
3 & 4 year olds - Students who turn 4 on or before September 1 will go to the Pre-K class in room 7B. All other 3 year olds remain in the 3 & 4-year-olds' class.
Pre-K through grade 4 - Students promoto to the next class.
Grade 5 - Students remain in the 5th & 6th-grade class.
Grade 6 - Students promote to the Junior High class.
Grade 7 - Students remain in the Junior High class.
Grade 8 - Students promote to the High School class.
Grades 9 - 11 - Students remain in the High School class.
Family Camp at MSBC
For all practical purposes, this weekend marks the end of summer for MSBC. If you have been to Family Camp, you know what a relaxing and fun time it is. You'll have opportunities for communing with nature on the lake, fishing or canoeing, having spiritual discussions. or engaging in quiet conversation, and doing it all in the peace and serenity of Midnight Sun Bible Camp on Lynx Lake.

Deaf Gospel Meeting
Join us for a three-day- Gospel Meeting with Mike Helms. He comes to us Tennessee and will speak to us in American Sign Language.
We will have more information concerning the subject matter and schedule when the event is closer.
Welcome/Farewell Fellowship
We will welcome all those who have become a part of our congregation during the past month and say good-bye to those who are leaving us. Please bring a full meal for your family plus extra for our honored guests.
Service team members whose last names begin with N-S will graciously do the clean-up afterwards.
Scrapbooking
Come right after luch and bring whatever project you're currently working on or want to start. Join with other talented ladies as they spend four un-interrupted hours working on their albums. It's a great time to be productive while sharing with others your love of scrapping. The group meets in room 15/16.
Deaf Potluck
Come join our Deaf members at their potluck following orning worship. Please bring enough food for your family.
