Today begins the Winter Quarter of our Bible Class Program and will go through the last Wednesday of February 2009.

Adults, if you have not alreasy done so, check the main hallway doors to see the options for this new quarter. Two-year-old children who turned three during the fall quarter will now go to the three-year-old class. All other children will remain in their current classes.

Our Men's Retreat takes place at Birchwood Camp just a short drive from Anchorage. You may choose to stay the night in heated cabins furnished with beds and hot showers.

The retreat features a guest speaker, s delicious dinner, a talent show, hours of spiritual thinking, and wonderful Christian fellowdhip.

You will get to know men you've deen at worship and meet men who are new to your acquaintence.We encourage teenaged boys 9th grade and up to attend.

Make your plans now to attend. You will find registration forms on the table in the foyer of the church building.

Today is the last class of the summer. The Fall Quarter will begin Sunday, September 7.

This coming Sunday is also Promotion Day. If you are now in the following classes:

3 & 4 year olds - Students who turn 4 on or before September 1 will go to the Pre-K class in room 7B. All other 3 year olds remain in the 3 & 4-year-olds' class.

Pre-K through grade 4 - Students promoto to the next class.

Grade 5 - Students remain in the 5th & 6th-grade class.

Grade 6 - Students promote to the Junior High class.

Grade 7 - Students remain in the Junior High class.

Grade 8 - Students promote to the High School class.

Grades 9 - 11 - Students remain in the High School class.
